TENNESSEE NEVER FORGETS.
How We Serve
-
Financially
The TBR team is dedicated to providing financial support to the families of fallen first responders. Each rider either contributes or fundraises a 'buy-in' to participate in the ride, with 100% of the funds raised going directly to the families. In addition to the ride, the Tennessee Brotherhood raises funds year-round through a variety of events, fundraisers, and sponsorships. Tennessee Never Forgets, and we are honored to welcome you to our family.
-
Emotional Support
TBR riders dedicate themselves to year-round training, building the physical endurance required to ride for multiple days, covering hundreds of miles, and navigating diverse terrains and weather conditions. This commitment reflects our core belief: “Whatever hurts my brother, hurts me.” While we, as riders, may endure a few challenging days, it is a small sacrifice compared to the daily grief these families endure following the loss of their loved one. Our mission is clear: to ensure that the memory of their hero is never forgotten. We ride to honor their sacrifice, to guarantee that their loved one will always be remembered, cherished, and celebrated.
-
Memorial Bike Ride
Tennessee Brotherhood is a dedicated group of individuals who ride bicycles across the state of Tennessee to honor the fallen First Responders and their families. Comprising firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and the loved ones of fallen heroes, TBR riders come together with a shared commitment to paying tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

General Ride Info
We’ll have a support vehicle in the front and rear of the group. Local police and fire departments will lead us through their areas and set the pace. Be cautious when transitioning between towns, as vehicles may be moving. Watch for busy intersections and streets—do not cross the center line. If vehicles need to pass, stay right. If a rider has a mechanical issue, the group will slow down or stop to help. If a rider opts for the support vehicle, the ride will continue, but both the rider and vehicle will stop.
Personal Belongings
We will have communal Day Totes available at each rest stop during the ride. These are perfect for storing items you might need throughout the day, like rain gear, sunscreen, supplements, or anything else you want to keep accessible. Space is limited, so pack light. For personal belongings like your sleeping bag, please bring a large duffle bag. Access to these bags will be limited during the day, as they’ll be kept in the main trailer and only retrieved at night.
Rest Stops | Accommidations
We’ll have a rest stop every 20 miles, lasting about 15 minutes each. You’ll have access to Gatorade, water, fruit, energy bars, and other snacks, as well as Day Totes for quick access to your gear. It’s a great time to refill your water bottles, grab a snack, reapply sunscreen, and use the restroom. We’ll stick to the time limits to stay on schedule, so please dispose of trash in the provided bags. The lunch stop will be around 45 minutes, with food provided.
We’ll be staying at host sites, so bring a sleeping bag, air mattress, pillow, etc. All locations offer air conditioning and showers, and we’ll launder your cycling gear each night.
