Bob Galvin

I was born and raised in Syracuse, NY, and proudly served as an Army Veteran. I’m the father of two amazing daughters, Frankie and Autumn, and a proud grandfather to two energetic grandsons, Declan and Lincoln. Recently, after 23 years apart, I was reunited with the "one that got away," and I’m excited about the future ahead of us.

After my time in the Army, I struggled to transition back to civilian life and spent three years homeless. By the grace of God, I was able to overcome that challenge and began turning my life around. I entered EMS in 1996, became a Flight Paramedic in 2002, and currently serve as the Director of Air Clinical Operations for Air Evac Lifeteam, overseeing 146 bases across 18 states. I’ve also been providing peer support for 16 years and lead a trauma recovery course called REBOOT Recovery, headquartered in Clarksville, TN.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about competitive racquetball, having earned medals in the last three events, and I’ve qualified for the 2025 National Senior Games in Des Moines, IA. I also recently launched a men’s fitness group called F3 (Fitness, Fellowship, Faith) in Bowling Green, KY.

Last year, I had the honor of riding in the KY Brotherhood Ride and plan to ride again this year to honor all the AEL crewmembers we’ve lost in recent years. I’m also excited to bring the Brotherhood to Tennessee and launch a much-needed resource for the community.
