Howard Florence

I was born and raised in central Kentucky, and my journey has been shaped by service, dedication, and family. After proudly serving three years in the U.S. Army, I attended New Mexico State University, which set the stage for a rewarding 26-year career with the Lexington Police Department.

Family is everything to me — I have two wonderful daughters. One is a trauma ICU nurse, making a difference in the lives of others, and the other is currently a junior at Centre College, pursuing her own path.

I’ve had the privilege of riding with the Kentucky Brotherhood Ride twice and look forward to riding again in 2025 to honor those who have sacrificed so much.
